The Impact You’ll Make in this Role 3M is seeking a Regional Product Specialist (RPS) for the Pro Paint Channel within the Consumer Business Group (CBG). This position will be located in the Northeast market, supporting central and coastal geographies. As a Regional Product Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. The person hired for this position will drive new product wins, applications, and penetration of key CBG tapes and masking systems across the professional paint trades. This position will work with sales, marketing, and business leaders to specialize and win with masking tape products. Work includes understanding and driving sales of key masking products by working with marketing and sales representatives on application understanding, specification, share gain & collateral development. Here you will be able to make an impact by: Leading penetration in the masking tape category, specifically in the architectural paint markets. Drive pull-through (POS) with key channel partners by gaining trial and adoption with our largest end-user painters. Working with our territory field representatives to identify and convert end-user tapes & masking systems opportunities. Developing and leveraging competitive landscape in masking tape markets. Supporting best practices across the US marketplace Training customers and sales representatives within the US market. Strong collaboration with sales, marketing, and application engineers. Company Vehicle This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) Three (3) years of sales and/or marketing experience in a private, public, government or military environment Current, valid Driver’s License.
